All About Bing
My real name is Ch. Hiwire Pinball Wizard, but most folks just call me Bing.  I'm a nine year old wire fox terrier, and I live with Maggie, Rick, and my doggie roommate Phoenix.  Like Phoenix, I'm a retired show dog. I love to play and particularly like to go for walks.  I'm currently working on my Barn Hunt title, which I really enjoy. In addition to having my Th.D, I'm also a Reading Education Assistance Dog, and love doing the reading program at the Lake Bluff Library. My favorite thing, however, is to fall asleep on Rick's lap in the evening.

I love tummy rubs, chasing squirrels and learning new tricks.  I am a very smart dog and my vet told my parents, “Smart dogs need a job”. I’ve decided that my job will be to make people smile! I just earned my Canine Good Citizen title and am  making new friends at Balmoral in Lake Forest.

allaboutMac
My name is Mac. That is because I am a Scottish Dog bred for herding sheep. Since I am a show dog I also have a bigger name, Champion Scotdale’s Blue Light Special. Sounds like my owners found me at Kmart! I don’t think that is true, since I am a full bred Bearded Collie, or Beardy as they say in the dog show biz. The Blue Light thing comes from my color. I am considered a “Blue”, but as you can tell from my picture, I look gray. But, my eyes are blue, if you could see them for all the hair. I also do agility training.  My favorite thing to do, besides being with my people, is running for my Frisbee. I also love to be petted and have a nice soft fur coat to pet.  I'll be reading with children at the Lake Bluff Library.

allaboutOdie
Odie , an Irish Wolfhound, is the Prince.  Prince Odie was born at Stoneybrook Castle in the cold kingdom of Minnesota.  Raised by good Queen Breeder Judy, he was ransomed for a princely sum to come live in Chicago and grow into a swift and determined hunter of white plastic bags and squeaky toys.  He also has a princely appetite and expects that any food left in his vicinity is his royal heritage.  But he is a commonly good fellow, when not engaged in running and eating.  Odie visits at Claridge Health Care Center in Lake Bluff and participates in the Lake Bluff Library Reading program.

allaboutMeeko
Hi, Friends!  My name is Meeko and I am a domestic shorthair.  I started my therapy pet career at three years old..  I was found as a stray , but, unfortunately, I was taken to a high kill shelter and scheduled for euthanasia at 9 months old.  Lucky for me, the nice person who took me to the shelter remembered how happy and alert I was when he first found me, and he started his own search for the perfect home.  It was during this search that my current family was found.  I enjoy visiting patients at ManorCare Rehabilitation Center in Naperville.  When I'm not working, I love greeting anyone who walks in the front door of my home.  Sometimes when my human friends bring me cat treats, I do tricks, such as high five and spin around.
